Just letting you all know that another Hastings United supporter Peter Shaw, has passed away after a short illness. (Not Covid.)
Peter started following Hastings, then Town, in the late 1990s when he purchased and developed a property in Hastings. This was next door to me and we became firm friends, he moved here permanently a couple of years later.
He like myself also supported Fulham and we travelled with my Son Jack, around the country following both Hastings and Fulham, watching 100s of matches together.
I’m sure many of you will recognise Peter from the pics I have posted, he could usually be found having a pint in the bar, if not outside watching the game.
