Sounds like a fantastic effort from the team today and just an ounce more of luck would have seen us home.
Let's hope this inspires us to produce the attractive, expansive football that we saw last season in our upcoming league games.
Better side lost today but to go out on penalties to a side two divisions higher is no disgrace. If we carry on like that in the league we should get promotion at last. Well done Chris and the lads, proud of you all.
Having followed the game on FWP this afternoon, I felt nervous that it would have been quite a big scoreline before half-time but to be winning at 86 minutes and then concede right at the end was so unfortunate as like everyone I was hoping we would hold on until the final whistle, but to have taken an extremely good side to penalties is a brilliant achievement and well done to everyone involved today. Really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season as I'm sure a lot of the lads will come on with leaps and bounds after today.
