Pretty much like it was before covid. no changes, bar, food open, queues are the same, just everything more expensive

And of course we are not post Covid.
It is very much alive and kicking and is a potential public health threat to the season completing

The Main Stand was was only half open as the far end was closed to supporters as someone told me that it had not been cleaned! why has that not been done in this Covid environment!
As a consequence everyone was packed in at the other end of the stand which made social distancing very difficult.
One other thing that I noticed was that no one was wearing a face mask-that being supporters, directors & ground staff etc.
Also I think that we need more temporary toilets around the ground as with a one in one out policy it can be quite difficult at times.
To be honest sitting in the main stand I felt quite vulnerable, so perhaps with this governments rule of 6 that came into effect on Monday that may change things.

Wow some of the comments on here.... there was only a certain amount ot people aloud in the main stand ... and you don't need face covering outside in the open ..you ever watched the snooker finals.. not 1 person had a face covering on and they had 300 attending that , and that was inside where you will catch it more... this is why I don't really come on here anymore as people always pick on the negative but never the positive... you have your own mind if you don't feel comfortable then move or what ever... its that simple, the comments
are horrendous, try and respect people who work there arse off to make thos possible for you to watch football.. nothing will ever be safe no matter what you do 🙄🙄

Thanks philg, I'm getting fed up with people who just bloody moan and not actually help out.. people need to understand what it takes to get a game on, im up there every Saturday before the game trying my hardest to get things done for the safety of the supporters,so when you see crap like this makes you think is it worth it, people have a brain 🧠 so why not use it, do you all know influenza is a virus that spreads like wild fire.. just the same as covid, people need to make there self aware of there surroundings.. if you don't feel safe where you sit or stand then move, its common sense really ..

Here we go, about helping out, everyone who walks in that ground are well aware of the time and work you all do to keep things going, and it is and always has been appreciated by all, but before you say "I'm getting fed up with people who just bloody moan and not actually help out", just remember, not everyone can help out, for a whole host of reasons, so please do not start pointing fingers. Moaning is 95% of a forum, and it`s really good for everyone, if you chopped out the moaning, there would not be any comments on here. Please accept that everyone has a point of view, you may not always agree, I certainly don`t quite a lot of the time, but I still come on to be entertained and learn a lot, god knows we don`t hear anything from the club web page.

Thank you
My contribution to this debate was to point out we are not post Covid but very much in Covid with millions of this country now in lockdown, or restricted movement . It was not to comment about volunteers, having been one at the club for over 20 years
Infection rates currently out of control.
When we all appreciate this we will all behave sensibly in the manner that is being suggested by you

By me, well bookworm I have my own brain where I know what is safe and what isn't safe. That's common sense .. you take your self out of the situation that you may feel uncomfortable in.. the club is doing what they can to make everyone ferl safe as much as they can ..but its the supporters who need to make sure they try their hardest to stick by the clubs guidelines.. all that the club can do is guide them, its down to you to follow them.as much as possible and if you feel safe to do so... im aware about the infection rate as I read alot about it, plus they have said that tests give out false positive test results.. so for me like I will keep going and judging if I feel safe where I sit or stand around other people..

If you enjoy your football and support Hastings then be thankful that you can at least attend a match.
I was, myself,a little bit sceptical about going back to watch football last Saturday and still have my reservations about such events taking place.
I am a season ticket holder and if at anytime I feel vulnerable I will not step foot in the ground. We all have this choice.
Until the time arrives that we are not permitted to play football,I will always thank our fantastic volunteers for all their hard work.

Thank you

To be fair to the club I think they are doing a pretty good job in managing the situation surrounding the Coronavirus.
There is a one way system in place through the bar and the main stand capacity has been reduced from 600 to 250 to allow for social distancing. This is all being marshalled by stewards. I understand also that the Covid plan has been published on the club's website for anyone interested.
The eastern end of the mainstand was closed off on Saturday because it needed cleaning. This was nothing to do with Coronavirus....more to do with the number of pigeons who like to visit.
I honestly don't think face masks are necessary in the ground. In effect we are 'outside' and so long as social distancing is maintained, risks are pretty low. No criticism there.
On that subject, I thought that the majority of supporters were being pretty responsible with regard to social distancing within the ground.
However, why do the singers (who were making a fantastic noise in the second half on Saturday) feel the need to rush down to the front barrier when we score, thus surrounding supporters who were maintaining a responsible distance between themselves ?
This is unnecessary at any time but wholly irresponsible at the moment. The point is EVERYBODY needs to behave in a sensible and responsible manner if we are going to continue to watch football at the Pilot Field.
