I’m with Cliff, two of our very best and most important players. I would throw Jake Elliot in as well as not heard about him yet either. Understand Sam Beale won’t be staying and not that bothered about Lanre after today’s signing.
Isn't it great that the club has finally got a bit of stability. Same management team and a more settled playing squad. There will always be a few tweaks needed but this is definitely the right way to achieve success!
Agree about Sam Cruttwell. I feel he was the most talented player that we have had in recent years that we somehow let slip away. I believe it was his desire to hit too many of those 50 yard killer passes from defence that didn't quite fit in with the manager's short passing philosophy.
I would love to see him operate in midfield alongside Jack Dixon.
Think we did lack a creative midfielder last season. Ryan started well but struggled towards the end of the season. Hope we develop our passing style of play and start to pass the ball with more purpose in areas of the field which causes problems for the opposition. With Mick about Sam. Need his left foot as well.
Presumably Gerald Aboagye won't be with us next season. Not heard his name mentioned by anyone.
