Dave King, Kevin Wallis (oozed class), has to be Stocky and Ernie Batten for me. For pure entertainment, Gerry Armstrong, Micky Westburgh, Dave Crush and Kevin Simpson. Happy days....I remember Micky Westburgh smashing one in from 30 yards, and every time he got anywhere near that range, for the next 2 years after, he booted it out of the ground into Elphinstone Road. Crushy gets the nod for wiping out an opponent at Hillingdon (or was it Hounslow) off the ball. By the time the ref got involved, Crushy was 30 yards away looking very innocent. The ref said afterwards that he was pretty sure who had done it, but he had no evidence. Think VAR would have got him! Simmo was just legendary.
