If the club is serious about keeping the 200 club going they really need to ensure the draw takes place every month and the results are announced promptly. At the moment it is difficult to encourage others to join when it appears that the draw will only take place when prompted by supporters. I am seriously considering leaving. It's a shame because with the club on such a high at the moment, and with attendances at such impressive levels, now would be the ideal time to get the 200 club up to 200 members or even attempt a 300 club!
Website rarely up to date with anything. Awful website, design and layout and info on there. It shows the under 18s have played 1 home league game all season and it's mid February.
No good at anything like that but most clubs in our league do news on injuries, fixture changes club news but Hastings is really poor when it can even update the fixtures and results for the teams
Not quite sure what your talking about CliffD, if you look on the club website under news, there have been 44 news stories since January 1st! That’s not far off 1 a day! And the articles vary from, Davide’s Injury update, U23s match cancellations, u18 match cancellations, first team cancellations, U23 fixture changes, announcement of women’s team intentions, announcement of women’s team manager, community news, the list goes on!
With regards to the U18s the website is correct, if you compare it to the league website it matches. Problem is with the weather we have since November a lot of your team games have been postponed... and if you looked at the youth team league table... that’s not just Hastings United.
I'm pleased to hear that the draws are still taking place. Maybe they could put the results in the programme, if the club is not in a position to update the website? It might also be an opportunutity to publicise the 200 club and maybe get more people interested in joining. Just an idea.
