I have just been looking at this competition and it seems that we are in a mini league of 6 teams where we have 3 away games and 2 home games.
Team
1 Burgess Hill Town
2 Hastings United
3 East Grinstead
4 Three Bridges
5 Chichester City
6 Haywards Heath

There are 10 mini leagues at our level and the winner of each group goes through to the 1st Round with the 22 clubs from the Premier (Last 32)

I think this cup is a waste of time and instead of being a straight knockout competition they have stretched it out to 5 matches starting on the 3rd September through into November on Tuesday Nights.

I think we have enough cups with the FA Cup/Trophy and Sussex Senior Cup all of which are more important in my eyes that this one!

What I find strange if that if you win a game you get 3 points , no points for a loss. However if it is a draw both get one point, but then there is an immediate penalty shoot out....the winner of which gets a bonus point. personally hope Chris uses it as an opportunity to blood some of the younger players.

I see we have been drawn away to Corinthian Casuals in the 2nd round if we get through.

Given their league position (grim), Casuals won't have this fixture top of their list of priorities.
