The way I see it the following 3 leagues are battling for one play off place (depending on all 2nd placed teams winning their playoffs)
bostik s east ( Hastings div)
evostik div1 south
evostik east
If we beat Ashford on Monday we will be guaranteed a home tie in the playoff semi playing either Ashford again or Haywards Heath
If Horsham lose their last game on Monday away at guernsey .Guernsey need to win to have a chance of staying up and we beat ashford and Greenwich, we finish second
I still believe 2 wins should be enough to give us enough ppg 2 points a game
Unfortunately I am away on Monday and will not be able to post ppg tables until Tues .
Looking at the Points per Game table now after the Ashford game with only 1 game to go Hastings are now 19th out of the 28 teams currently in the Play off positions with an average of 1.914 points per game.
Even if we win on Saturday and win the play off's as well we will have to be extremely lucky to get promotion with an average of only 1.944 points per game.
Horsham are currently 3rd in the table with 2.055 ppg so they should get promotion if they win the play off's.
Well just in case anyone is interested the final points per game table is now available.
Hastings finished 15th out of 28 with an average of 1.944 points per game so if we win the play off's we will have to rely on 2 or possibly 3 other 4th or 5th placed teams to win as well.
Horsham if they win the play off's will definitely be promoted but if Haywards Heath win the Play off's they will definitely NOT be promoted.

Playoffs are a complete lottery. All we can do is beat Ashford on Monday evening and see how the other semi final results pan out. FA heads should hang in shame at imposing this on step 4 clubs.
