As a fan of the club for nearly 40 years I can’t help but have so many mixed feelings about recent news surrounding many of our players. So happy for the players and great credit must go to Chris and the coaching staff for their development but have a horrible feeling whether we are promoted or not, this current team will be ripped apart and have a very different look next season. As a coach, it’s always the ultimate goal to develop and move your players on to a higher standard, but as a supporter you can’t help but have a slightly more selfish outlook. Well done Jamie though 👏👏
John I don it’s something I have said on here time and time again. If you try and build a side at this level with younger players it is inevitable there will be a percentage that progress beyond our level, that is why it’s not possible to build a side on young players alone, I am sure Chris knows and appreciates this, hence why you need to have plenty of experience as well as there will be a continuous stream of young players coming into the side.
