playoff points per game tables Am i right in thinking that there are 5 playoff spots guaranteed of promotion out of 7. The leagues as I see it are as follows, ( If I am incorrect please let me know) Bostik S east Bostik north Bostik s central Evostik east Evostik west Evostikdiv1 central Evostik Div1 South I have calculated the current teams in the leagues playoffs spaces to work out how we currently stand Includes results from Sat 23 march Div1 central Pos 2 =2.43 ppg pos 3=2.06 pos4=1.68 pos5=1.59 Bostik north pos2 =2.12 pos3=2.0 pos4=2.06 pos5=2.0 Evostik div1 south pos2=2.09 pos3=1.97 pos4=1.84 pos5=1.83 Bostik south central pos2=2.0 pos3=2.0 pos4=1.93 pos5=1.78 Evostik west pos2=2.0 pos3=1.90 pos4=1.90 pos5=1.83 Evostik east pos2=1.93 pos3=1.87 pos4=1.75 pos5=1.80 Bostik south east pos2 HASTINGS UTD=1.90 pos3=1.90 pos4=1.93 pos5=1.86 As it stands if all the teams currently 2nd in the leagues win playoffs we will not get promoted as our league has the worst ppg average. The likely hood is that not all of the teams finishing second will win playoffs. Please could someone let me know if I am correct in the above leagues are the ones battling out for the 5 spots. Looking at the fixtures in the other leagues I believe 4 wins out of 5 should give us a big enough ppg return if we were then to go and win playoffs. Well done Tim, you are right about the seven league tables, from your figures I think we are 14th equal. If we win 4 games and the playoffs we should be OK ,but anything could happen in the next few weeks. Must admit to being old school , play offs should have been strangled at birth. __________________

Think play offs this season may be strange as you will have teams playing that can’t go up and some it’s very unlikely they will go up, at least 2 of the 14 in a final won’t be able to go up. __________________

Most other leagues have a “whipping boy “ almost guaranteed 6 points for the top teams. Unfortunately we lost thamesmead, which could have added to our ppg.
