And we? yes struggling is the least we can say about our last performances and hopefully our terible away form will come to a end is this very important match.
Maybe this will give the team a big boost: The Club is delighted to announce the signing of former Brighton & Hove Albion, Havant & Waterlooville and Eastbourne Borough Centre Back Gary Elphick who joins the 'U’s ahead of this weekend’s trip to VCD Athletic.
Safe journey for you all and COYU'ssssssssssssssss!
OMG awesome result and best all round performance of the season. Better team first half but just couldnt find the back of the net.
Bossed the game in the second half wore the other team down. Aggy and the coaching team bought on 2 subs who supplied the finishing touches. New signing Elphick at he back was immense.
When we scored the first goal, WoW still buzzing now all the team , squad and coaching staff ran on to celebrate. Showed what spirit we have. Also a massive shout out to all the supporters who made the journey.
100% positivity and behind the team. Lets continue with this for rest of season.
Well summed up Tim, the celebrations after Davide’s goal had to be seen to be believed. Don’t know if Scott got a picture of the dugout but it was empty. The goal followed a tremendous 30 yard free kick from Crutts, my man of the match, that rebounded off the cross bar. Jordy then added a second. Inspired substitutions. Good game from Elphick, no messing about. Bring on Cray.
Top display on a compact difficult looking surface with the massive bonus of the late late Rodari show. He looked like he'd never been away. And the reaction off the pitch when he scored - priceless! Well done all of you.
On a rather down note - didn't expect to see Charlie Horlock in the teabar line up at half time. What is going on there??
