After the 3-3 against Phoenix we are back at TPF against 1450013453024.gif

Whyteleafe are currently the number 5 in the table with 35 points out of 20 games.

They scored 42 and conceded 24 goals. Top scorer Eddie Dsane with 9 goals.

Remember our away game with the loss of 0-2 and the red card of Tom Climpson.:

And we? Shoud we have won against Phoenix? Probably but at the end it was 3-3. This is a top match between two clubs in the play off position. Whyteleafe lost their last 2 away games and if..... we want contender of direct promotion you need to win these games.

Have a great time and enjoy the match.

COYU'sssssssssssssssssss

Certainly would be a good one to win. Leafe are always hard to beat and their small contingent of fans will be sure to make a noise as they normally do.  3 points is a must this week on afraid .

Two defeats to Whyteleafe this season so will need to be at our best on Saturday. Hope our defence is back to its best.

Best performance of the season. Liked the starting line up and they repaid the manager with a magnificent display despite two first half injuries and enforced changes. Mongoy will take all the plaudits and deservedly so but super performances all over the pitch, none better than Dixon once again. Great to see Hass back and hope the injury is not too serious. Looked great while he was on. Well done all 👏👏

Totally agree with John and Madster, best performance of the season against a decent Whyteleafe team. Jordy’s second goal brilliant. Excellent all over the pitch.

Easily best performance I have seen this season from 1 to whatever our highest number is we looked in control, balanced and threatening play like this for rest of season we could still threaten Cray if they have a dip in form. Well done all.

Totally agree with all above comments. What a superb performance! No mistake, Whyteleafe are a decent side and apart from the excellent save Josh made early on we shut them out. We managed to do that with two forced first half substitutions. Many excellent performances out there today. Of course, no one could argue with Jordy being MoM, but there was a great performance from Jack Dixon who covered miles of pitch.
What I like above all is that Chris A has evolved his game plan. Yes, we still play it around at the back and do a passing game but we can go long as well and in Jordy we actually have someone who can meet a cross as he did superbly for his second goal.

Great performance to put three past a decent Whyteleaf side. Everyone excelled especially Lanre at right wing back, great last minute run to stop a cross by their winger. Jordy’s goals earned MoM but the whole team were magnificent.

I'm not the only one who's asking who's Josh am I? 🤣🤣. Brilliant performance today .. Jordy of course deserved Mom but then so did Jack Dixon who was superb   Sam Crutwell had a blinder too. Whyteleafe's number 9 hit the deck quicker than my dad did at full time... He was fine btw ...     Dad I mean

Whichever angle you look at it from, that was absolutely magnificent. That's what we've been working towards.

Mobile and tenacious in defence, tireless and aggressive in midfield, equally tireless and aggressive on the flanks, pacey and powerful and ruthless up front. Never the let the level drop across the entire ninety minutes, never let our concentration waver despite disruption from injuries and irritation at an inconsistent referee.

Won every individual battle in every area. Defended set pieces brilliantly. Did the ugly stuff when we needed to, stood up for ourselves in the physical contests, but applied some real quality when the opportunity arose (the second goal, particularly, was glorious). Adapted to the course of the game (I particularly liked the fifteen minutes before half-time during which we took the ball away and left them to work out how they were going to get back into the contest without it). Eradicated the carelessness that's sometimes undermined our good work.

That sets the standard, for quality, discipline, work-rate, everything else. The challenge now is to live up to that standard.

Indeed. Sorry, my enthusiasm at the performance obviously put me in a time warp and so referred to Josh rather than Charlie!

Another enjoyable afternoon at the
Pilot Field. Only downside were the injuries to Jack and Hassan. Loss of Jack made us less of a threat from throws, corners and free kicks where Jack poses a real.threat at the far post. Hassan was having a very effective game before his injury but Sam was equally as good. Just as Tom coming on for Jack didn't upset the defence at all. Hope we play as well at Whitstable.
