And we? We need to win this otherwise we loose the 'contact' with Cray. Greenwich are obvious a complete different team then last year and hopefully the final score will be completely different then in January.
Thoroughly entertaining game ,really look good going forward although one or two dodgy moments at the back, but another clean sheet. Pretty good crowd for a Tuesday night.

Only one or two?
I think everyone's being a bit generous, if I'm honest. We were undeniably terrific going forward in the first half, with Lanre Azeez particularly prominent on the right, and created enough chances to bury the game before the break.
But it was as if our ability to cause them all kinds of problems on the flanks sucked us into wildly over-committing: we spent much of the time playing as if it was the last five minutes of a cup tie in which we were two-nil down, with full-backs flying into the final third, midfielders surging forwards and central defenders isolated in the centre circle.
There was a point about fifteen or twenty minutes in when we were really dominant and just needed to keep it tight for a minute or two rather than let them into the game...and we got all cavalier instead, let it turn into an end-to-end attack-fest and sacrificed any element of control. It got more and more shambolic as the half progressed, and if Greenwich had scored half a dozen, we couldn't really have complained. Undeniably entertaining, but I needed a lie-down by the time it all ended.
To our credit, however, we sorted it all out at half-time, and we did it without making dramatic changes too. That ought to be cause for optimism. The second half was much less exciting and not all that memorable. Tellingly, though, we scored three, could've scored more...and they barely had a shot. You can build a promotion campaign from playing like we did in the second half; it was solid, hard-working and sensible. You can't build anything from playing like we did in the first half: you might win some games 10-0 but you'll lose others 5-4, and unnecessarily so. We do, after all, have more than enough fire power up front, especially against tiring opponents, that we can afford to take a more measured approach while continuing to entertain.
Spot on report Ian. I don’t think the four goal difference flattered us but could quite easily have been 9-5 after that crazy first half. The fact that Charlie Horlock got the sponsors MOM says it all, although I would have given it to Sammy.
The two new boys looked okay and Azeez constantly skinned their left back but his final ball was very poor. Decent debut though.
Two clean sheets in a row should tell you all is rosy at the back but far from it. Jahmal had a very poor first half and his early season brilliance seems to have deserted him for the minute whilst the other three were okay at best. Still don’t know what is going on with Christie and from all the games I have seen this season still believe he’s our best defender.
Work rate and pressing all over the pitch, particularly in the final third was top class and resulted in the opening two goals. Very impressive.
Was just concerned in the first half when we continued to leave 1v1 or 2v2 at the back against their pacy attackers although Chris appeared to put that right second half.
Super result though and to beat a decent Greenwich side 4-0, and like Guernsey don’t be fooled by their lowly league position, whilst putting in probably a 6/10 performance just shows you how good this squad is and how good we can become this season when it all comes together. Expect a similar result Saturday before the big one at Cray a week Sunday.
