And we? The Loss in the Cup can have just positive things to the team by concentrating just on the League. Clearly Guernsey is not the top team it used to be. Hopefully the young team of HU can bring back the 3 points!
Just a reminder to those that maybe travelling is that Guernsey is not part of the NHS nor is it in the EU, so the EHIC form is not valid. So you either take a chance or get travel insurance.
Not even into November and we are 13 points adrift albeit with 4 games in hand. That could widen even more if Thamesmead blow out. Winning at Guernsey is a must. Good luck boys.
Watched the game at the social club, but I had my head in my hands at times! What worries me is the aimless passing around the back - it looks so dangerous at times. At the end of the day a wins a win I suppose and glad we got it.
We struggle to beat one of the divisions weak sides, we aren’t going to win the league playing the way we are, a half decent side would have scored a couple of goals at least against us. If we continue to play the way we are we won’t go up this season.
Also watched the game at the Social Club.Agree with Chris in regard to the way we play the ball at the back.It appears to be a dangerous practice and against better opposition we will be punished.Putting that aside,a really good turn out at the Club.COYU's
I suppose it’s what you call winning ugly, a win, three points and not a game that will live long in the memory. We move on. Smashing people on Guernsey, passionate about their sport. Thanks to a Guernsey supporter called Pete who took us to the airport in his posh car.Much appreciated.
