United this morning beat ffdstv 5-1 on a very warm day. Scorers were Sam Beale, Jack Dixon , Ansu Janneh 2 and a trialist No.18 (no idea of name), but looked useful. Impressed with the centre back pairing of Sinnkaye and Jahmal. Didn’t recognise Crutts who has had his hair cut off,thought it was Duncan MacArthur making a comeback. No doubt Chris would have learned a few things. __________________

Certainly did not recognise him Dan, neither did other supporters. Seems to have grown a bit. Another trialist called ‘ Manny’ also looked impressive. __________________

Has anybody else noticed that Antonio Walker bears more than a passing reference to Jesse Lingard. Let’s hope that he plays like him this season. __________________

6-0 win over Westfield tonight. Can’t remember all the scorers but Ansu got 2. Still impressed by ‘ Manny’. A nice turnout of our supporters as well. __________________

1-0 win over Little Common this lunch time, scorer Jack Dixon about 15 Minutes from the end. Little Common not a bad side. Have to say excellent turn out from our supporters ,must have been 60/ 70 there. __________________

It was like a traing sssion at times although Common did threaten our goal a couple of times. Russell Eldridge certaily saved them on several occasions. Good football at times but wholesale changes made continuity difficult. Once again Chris will have learnt a lot. __________________ Steve Thorpe
