Interesting  to see how Hastings play against Faversham tomorrow. Would like to think we can go forward and dominate for most of the game. Have we got the attacking players to do this?

Hope so Tim. Potential has been unlimited all season - sadly, execution has been absent much of it but perhaps things are beginning to turn round. I'm still in a state of shock from Miasma at Molesey......

Another really ugly win today, but three points, another clean sheet and plenty of effort from the boys today. And don't be fooled by Faversham's lowly league position. They are much better than that suggests.

Thought the back five were superb again today and Dixon was a revelation at right back. Sammy Adams was also superb, scored a super goal and worked tirelessly throughout. But centre of the park really worries me. We desperately need some quality in there and Johnno needs to get match fit quickly. But a great effort today and a great start to Chris's tenure.

And a quick mention for Ollie Black, destroyed at Cray and subbed after 20mins but has showed real character and was great today and should be really proud of his performance.

Just about sums it up John, not the prettiest but 3 points.

Clearly we are now playing a different style of football both from the open style of play we enjoyed last season and even from what was apparently attempted during Adam's brief reign. I'm not despondent about that. Rather, great credit should go to Chris for making good use of the limited resources at his disposal and for creating a hard working team that is proving very difficult to score against. From their body language, there seems a very positive mood among the players and an evident respect for the manager. That bodes well for the future.
I agee John's comments about individuals; particularly regarding Jack Dixon. He was excellent today. Yes, we need more in midfield and we will want to see more creativity; but all in due course. Start at the back, get the defence sorted was always a sound approach.

Thought Charlie Horlock deserved man of the match ... not sure who got it btw

Their number 9 Liam King looked lively in the first half ... quite impressive

Thought we played well for the last part of the first half and scored a good goal. Disappointing second half when Faversham rather took over and had most of the play. Could easily have been 1-0 down in the first minute but Charlie's speed of the line saved us just as he did against Carhalton. Thought Sam and Ollie were excellent today and as others have mentioned the team is certainly working hard and is proving hard to score against. And pleasing to have so many local players.

Three clean sheets in a row, when was the last time we achieved that. Good performances all over the pitch but agree with Chris that Charlie was mom. Chris has got the team performing but I wonder if putting Crutts in centre mid would help.

Just February earlier in the year Steve when we had five in a row and scored 17 goals.

Agree that we need the see Crutts in the middle. Just no creativity whatsoever and Lee Carey sadly well below standard required but I'm sure he is an excellent coach.

Think Lee might be better suited to playing in England's midfield! Game tends to go on all around him. Think it was about 15 minutes before he got a touch on the ball. Seems the ideal position for Tom to play. Was waiting for Jack to switch back into midfield where I thought he would have more influence on the game but we it is good to have 3 games in a row without conceding.
