Hastings starting the first half bright with Matthew Barbosa with a one on one moment on goal but Ramsgate defender marked well and cleared the ball from the area minutes later there was good passing from Hastings in Ramsgate area but Ramsgate defenders was staying strong from early in the game Hastings pressure
the ball was being contested at both ends the football pitch but both defences was staying strong
Some good through ball movements by Hastings using the wide areas of the pilot field pitch but attackers were unable to get to the ball
Ramsgate had a moment on goal from a defence back pass from Hastings to Hastings goalkeeper Louie Rogers and he showed some good footwork in the box to clear ball from danger from the Ramsgate attackers and minutes later and an error from Ramsgate and Hastings number 10 George Taggart had shot on goal and the Ramsgate goalkeeper could only get a touch on the ball but the ball rolled in goal and it was 1-0 to Hastings thanks to some good pressure from Hastings young attacking players. Minutes later Hastings started spraying the ball good from the back into the wings of the fast Hastings attacking players and nice build up play from the attacking wings of Hastings resulted with long ball towards always attacking Zach Kieran and Matt Barbosa however moments later Hastings lose possession in midfield and Ramsgate striker had a shot on goal but went wide
A good chance for Hastings with a Free kick by influential captian Lee Carey in a young development team however the shot just went high of the goal and at the other end of the field Ramsgate had some good chances with some good solo attacking from players but Hastings midfield was able to withstand the pressure and near the end of the 1st half there was good spraying of the ball from midfield from captain Lee Carey up to the always attacking wide midfield player Zach Kieran

Restart of the 2nd half and Hastings started the game lively again with good ball play from Hastings defence with long ball to the Hastings attacking players that put pressure on Ramsgate in the box of the goal
Nice attacking play from Hastings and Lee Carey crosses in the box with the ball near goal but no one in the box in time to attack the ball minutes later Hastings goalkeeper Louie Rogers played a long ball to Hastings 3 Adrian Mudry at the time didn't expect the ball and Ramsgate had a chance on goal but nothing came of it however seconds later at the other end of the field Zach Kieran had another great attacking chance in the Ramsgate box from a nice pass from Matt Barbosa however Zach Keiran's shot was straight at goalkeeper to gather
Ramsgate started putting pressure on Hastings but the Hastings defence was holding strong
Free kick in the Hastings box from Ramsgate but Louie Rogers showed good goalkeeping display by punching the ball clear from danger
Good attacking work from Zach Kieran and then George taggart got an opportunity on goal but he was caught offside

Overall good team performance and a good 2-0 win with good young talent in the Hastings team which is a credit to the Hastings United academy management team and I'm sure many of these young players will be looking to get there names on the first team starting 11 soon
