I wish Josh well. I would never ever criticise any player who moves to play at a higher level of football and I can utterly understand the difficulties for London based players coming to Hastings to play and train. I hope we see Josh again, but as it it is we have many happy memories.
I cannot see what long term benefit Josh gets with his move. Slavomir Huk effectively won that semi play off last season - he is a top keeper and when he's recovered - could be a few months I read recently - he'll be straight back in the side.
I know Josh didn't get to play today - another mystery - but it must've seemed weird coming up against Dulwich Hamlet on consecutive weekends.......
I can see one massive benefit that would sway me and that's the journey, if you work and live in London, the stress of getting to Dorking is far less than Hastings.
I was answering simons point about not seeing the benefit. But at the time was the Hastings offer the best? I am not sure he was on a contract and if he wasn't then he is entitled to move on should he wish to do so.
