Hastings United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jack Dixon on a contract deal. Jack is the first of a number of signings newly appointed manager Adam Hinshelwood hopes to make in the next few weeks.
Jack played for United a few seasons ago before moving onto Lewes FC. He then joined Dulwich Hamlet FC in the autumn of 2014 for whom he had netted 19 goals from midfield. He then returned to Lewes FC for the 2016/17 season. Jack made his debut for Rye United FC as a 16-year-old in the Sussex County Football League and had trials at several League Clubs before signing for United, in 2011. After 87 matches over two seasons, and being an influential member of the team that reached the third round proper of the FA Cup, he moved to Lewes in July 2013.
All at United welcome Jack back to the Club. Manager Adam Hinshelwood said I am very pleased to have secured Jack's signature. I am sure he will be a great addition to our midfield options for the 2017/18 season. Hinshelwood added he is also currently in talks with a goalkeeper, central defender and wide man, and is also possibly in the market for a full back and striker.
