The biggest away day outing will soon be upon us. I know thats lots of people , young and old, are planning to go. (Potentially hundreds). The big question is which is the most suitable pre match pub? Given that Brighton are at home at the same time/date, the ones nearest the station and therefore the Pan will be mobbed. Any suggestions?
Could be the biggest anti climax of all time. We may have no chance of play offs by the time we play them. With the start we made, the brand of football we played (pre Xmas) and players we have, this may rank as the most disappointing season for many a year and there have been a few.

John .... had this nagging feeling that Lewes will kill our play offs like Herne Bay did last year .... just would have to be Lewes wouldnt it !!!!
As for pubs , I suspect if you are drinking and taking the train .. Southern Rail knowing that Brighton and Hastings fans will be travelling .. will still only put 2 carriages on as usual !!.. wouldn't bother ...
I will certainly be travelling by train to this one and suggest others do.
As someone who works in Lewes, I can honestly say that Lewes is one of the worst towns I know for parking.
Anyone know anybody who isn't going? Everyone I speak to is travelling over and it appears half of Hastings is descending on Lewes on Monday. Could we take 200-250 or even more?
Good choice of pub, Dan, with decent food if you fancy something to eat before the game. This is the pub I choose if I'm watching my 'other' team at Brighton on a Saturday. It generally fills up from 12:30 so we should be able to establish a strong Hastings 'presence' if people plan to arrive by train around midday.
Train tickets are cheaper if bought in groups. £7.60 as opposed to £11.50.
Anyone bringing the drum. Unfortunately Pat doesn't think he'll be well enough.
