After the defeat against Tooting it is now for coming back in a play-off position against
Corinthian are currently the number 4 in the table with 72 points out of 38 games ( 5 points above us)
They scored 77 and conceded 55 goals. Top scorer: Okojie with 24 goals.
They had great results lately against Dorking (2-0) and Greenwich (3-0)
Remember our home game: http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/isthonesouth/match/22592
Corinthian play at: King George's Field, Tolworth
And we? Didn't win one of our 4 last games and also did not score one goal in a match ( against Tooting ). So if we want to stay in the top 5 we may not loose this game.
Don't know if the departure of assistant manager Longhurst ( back to EGT ) and the departure of players Evans and Harris will have some influence.
Think we the travelling support the players must give everything to get a result.
Awful game which we were marginally the better side. Corinthian were so innacurate with there passing they seemed to think the touchline had a pink and brown shirt on. It was county league standard today no better.
Not too sure I would describe it as 'awful' Chris , although not the best game of the season. Thought we put in a workmanlike performance and deserved to win overall. Nice to see the great Alec Stewart there.
Enjoyed the game .. lovely club and nice to sit close to the pitch
For me Steven Butcher was outstanding and worked his socks off today . Not the greatest game but we needed that win and worked hard to get it . Think the team worked well together and the same starting line up I would like to see in the run in
Great day , and even got a bargain price on the Proseco in the bar !!
