After 2 draws recently we will be having another test against Ramsgate_F.C._%28logo%29.jpg

Ramsgate are currently the number 15th in the table with 48 points out of 37 games.

They scored 59 and conceded 65 goals.

Remember our home game :  http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/isthonesouth/match/29933

The Rams are playing at: Southwood Stadium Southwood Stadium

And we? After 2 completely different ways of gaining 1 point in our last 2 games we will have a huge test in Kent. We know almost for 100% that we will score a goal but more important now is to concede goals.

The Rams have not the best record at home so...........

Hopefully a lot of supporters will make the journey to Kent and be the 12th men!

COYU'ssssssssssssssssssss!

As if a cold miserable day in Ramsgate is not enough punishment we then had to endure yet another dreadful away performance from Hastings which amounted to not one shot on target in 90mins and Ramsgate must be pretty miffed as to how they failed to complete the double over Hastings. And today I blame the management as poor team selection yet again had an impact on the performance and score line. Why was Butcher back in for Akoto? in my opinion he is not as good and Butcher was poor throughout. Crutwell at left back again when we were crying out for his creativity in the middle. He looked thoroughly peed off all day. Some new lad Harris straight into the starting line up despite looking pretty limited and subbed early 2nd half. But at least Darren Hare proved my point that Bradley (who did ok) and Kiernon cannot play in the same team. But the biggest mystery of the day once again is why  is Kiernon getting in ahead of Harry? We know Harry was not injured and he certainly does not need resting so what is going on? I am afraid it was like playing with 10 men again today and just ask Crutts how much support and cover he got......none.

Nothing really to say on the performance. A young Ramsgate side looked fitter, stronger and more up for the game and probably should of won. MOM could only really go to Pidge who kept us in the game 2nd half.

Really, really poor day and I think Darren Hare needs to rethink on what he is doing with this squad of players as some are just not good enough, but can he see that? Standard just has to start ahead of Kiernon,  I just don't get it.

Grest support as always today with easily 70/80 plus from Hastings.

When I saw the line up my first thought was "Where's Harry ?". Can't believe Darren doesn't consider him to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
It seems like our Jekyll and Hyde performances are going to continue to the end. Whether that is enough to get us to the play-offs and beyond remains to be seen.
So six points dropped from winning positions in the last seven days ! Disappointing but still everything to play for. However maybe this week just cost us home advantage in the play-offs.

Agree totally with John especially on the point of putting in average players ahead of what we've got.Looks like we're stuttering at the moment just in time to face the best team in the division

Average to poor performance , Beit great saves from Lenny in the second half which kept us to a draw

I spoke about Bradley before , thought he was clumsy and nothing special today . I am sorry if I offend anyone but jack Harris coming on just fills me with negativity . I am sure he is not fit or holding an injury but again he does nothing for me

Agree 100% about Harry ... very special and should start

Ramsgate didn't look that special , we were poor . The only player for then was the young small lad with pace ... might be billy lewins

The ground was great , the people lovely especially on the gates .... really friendly and the tea bar should give lessons to the graveyard canteen at east grinstead where I am sure an Hastings fav is still there waiting for a tea !!

Great tribute with silence for Sydney T Jest ... Ramsgate old boy RIP

Ramsgate are not a bad side so a point there is not to be sneezed at - I suppoose. But that's three successive draws where United have been unable to hold on and today was really frustrating.

Awful first half - bit better in the 2nd but overall that was nothing special. I thought we had solved the left back issue with young Akoto - who warmed the bench for 90 minutes while Crutts who could surely have slotted into Johnno's place in midfield was instead left back. Maybe there were injury issues we didnt know about but the team selection was a hot topic on the train home.

I think we all expect hot and cold from Kiernan - today wasnt one of his better ones yet we didnt see Harry till surely too late.

Well done Pidge, some outstanding work stopped the day being a truly depressing one and we are still in the lottery places........

It's funny how different people judge the same game. The report in the NLP stated that it was an entertaining game and gave it four stars. Really?

Chris - Jack Harris Is carrying an ankle injury and has been virtually all season, about 6 weeks ago Darren came out and said he would need an operation at the end of the season but in the meantime wanted to carry on playing and would be strapped up for cameo appearances. Last week Darren said the operation was at the end of the month, presumably March.

Wel I was going to say maybe jack should get fit and fit the season out ... as he is no use to us ( in a nice way because I do like him ) ..... however my thunder has been stolen as we have signed a loan striker

Really disappointing once again today against a super T&M side who totally deserved their win and I hope they go on and win the whole thing. In front of a super crowd today, we just didn't turn up offensively and like Ramsgate away we didn't have a shot on target until we hit the bar twice in those crazy last few minutes. Defensively we looked okay all day and Pidge looked superb but we were just totally outclassed in midfield and the two central defenders, particularly their no 5 were outstanding.

First half was pretty cagey with Tooting having more of the possession and Hastings reverting to the ugly long ball game once again which just didn't work. I can understand if the new lad was up top but why keeping hoofing to Frannie when he is up top on his own. Bods had one shot across the face of the goal and looked the only player capable of producing anything.

Then the sending off. Couldn't see from where I was but you can always judge from the player reaction and there was very little so I am guessing it was very harsh.

Second half was expecting the Alamo but it didn't happen. We learnt nothing  from the first half and continued hitting long aimless balls to Frannie. Darren pulled a master stroke by bringing on the utterly hopeless Harris and then Jerome, who looked good all day looked to have picked up an injury and we seemed to go 3 at the back. Tooting looked really comfortable and looked to have settled for the point when their no 16 ran from his own half unchallenged and curled a glorious shot into the top corner, what a magnificent goal!!

Hastings huffed and puffed for the last 20mins without creating anything and some of the time wasting tactics by their keeper were not good to see. Then injury time and a magnificent volley from Johnno, I think, crashed against he bar and from the following cross fell to Frannie who hit the bar again with an open goal.

I am not sure an equaliser was deserved and Tooting completely deserved their win.

So 4 games without a win, playing poorly again and barely a shot on target in 2 games. We already look like we are missing Watty and have no idea what the new guy is bringing apart from a very average signing and a return to long ball rubbish. Crutts deserved MOM but still playing left back. Not sure we deserve to go up now and we are light years away from the likes of Tooting and Dorking.
