After the draw against Corinthian and i think 1 point won it is now against Carshalton.jpg

CAFC are currently the number 13th in the table with 58 points out of 38 games. Scored 65 and conceded 63 goals.

Topscorer is Tommy Bradford. They have a bad run at home: from their last 8 home matches they won only 1 ( against Ramsgate 5-2 and they lost the away game against them back in January 7-1!) Last Saturday they lost 0-1 against South Park.

Last season we lost away 0-3 and at home 1-2.

And we ? Although the performances on the pitch are maybe not always we hope but fact is that we are in a play off place and that is what we all wanted. Also in the last 8 matches we scored the most goals of all teams with 23 goals.

With 4 players on a regular scoring sheet :  Billy Medlock with 14 ( 24 games ),Sam Cole with 12 ( 29 games ),Zac Attwood with 10 ( 26 games ) and Tyrell Richardson Brown with 8 goals ( 18 games ) we have different options. Tyrell : TyrellRichardsonBrown.jpg

Important games are coming and like always needs the team your support!

Have all a safe journey! COYU'ssssssssssssssss!

Manager CAFC :

“Our game against Hastings will be a tough test,” said McGinn. "They are above us and have games in hand but we've made steady progress since I've been here and I'm confident we can get something out of the match."

We are preparing to welcome Hastings United on Saturday 12th March, kick-off 3pm.

Not good enough, better team won. Could not work out the system we were meant to be playing, and who was playing where. Seemed all over the place to me. Jack McLean showed some nice touches ,but don't understand why we are signing a player from Willingdon in the East Sussex league. If we are serious about the play offs we need to sign players from a higher league.

After two quite awful performances and an alleged, ill advised and badly timed trip to Cheltenham races on Tuesday for most of the players, does anyone know when the players will be in for training, as I am guessing that the management and coaching staff will be wanting to work on tactics and some defensive frailties with Sawyer, Harris and May coming up at Hythe on Thursday. They will be training I assume?

Or me.
I couldn't understand why we didn't play three at the back from the start and why was Chris on the bench?
Poor performance, need more consistency from players and management.

Would anyone be able to advise me as to why Jerome Smith never seems to get off the bench eleven though he is deemed to be good enough to be in the squad. He is obviously very loyal and therefore surely deserves at the very least a run out now and again to prove himself.

Can't answer that grasshopper, has always impressed me when he has played and is twice the player of a couple of other starters. Sometimes peoples faces just don't fit the regime, thinking of the likes of Stephen Okoh, Jack Harris, Alfie Hall, Jerome Jibodu, Tom Vickers. Wouldn't you just love a couple of those players now rather than some of the mediocre signings of late? Why Alfie Hall has not been recalled is the biggest mystery of the season for me.

Quite agree John, all of those names you mention were good players who left with hardly a mention. Indeed Alfie Hall was doing well before he mysteriously disappeared from the squad. I assume with Johnson, Adams and eventually Walder returning neither of the latest two signings will make the team.

Did not go saturday but sounds grim. i think the bad timing for the day at races is not so much lack of training cos i think our players have looked like they are burnt out and need a rest but more the problem of playing thursday and then 36 hours playing again then again on the Tuesday. It is just crazy and some of our players struggle with 2 games in a week without them be so close together. I think is a very poor decision by management and cant believe the club have allowed it at such a important time in season. i still think we will squeeze into play off but maybe not 2nd or 3rd now but 4th and 5th is there but was not expecting defeat on saturday and the table look congested now for 4th and 5th place and I though Molesey to winnable games but now two big games with them to come which could see them go above us even with our game in hand. we know how to make things tough but the whole situation with the races is avoidable, amateur and embarasing and whoevers idea it was an who allow it should think about there position.
we have let a lot of good players go and our squad look very thin now and we look desperate with getting so many player in from league clubs, good we have contact but not good when what we need now is a settle side and squad. Okoh, Harris, Hall and Vickers could have been so important for us at this stage of season but wrong decision and bad management mean we scrape by week on week.
maybe the players and management can find a bit of grass at cheltenham and go through some tactics whilst having a bet on the 2.10 at Cheltenham The Game Changer. Maybe the players will all win big and we can sign Messi or Ronaldo for the last month of season

If the players aren't on contracts they can do as they please, no blame can be attached to them at all, what you can do is play the game on the Tuesday without them or Thursday without them. In those scenarios you end up with unhappy players and supporters so its a no win. Its got to be accepted that this is something that happens occasionally at lower non league level.

Or not accepted Chris, and decide not to go so often, and save some hard earned money, from people who don`t perform, but are happy to take our money

not blaming players Chris as it not the players decision. at end of day we pay hard earn money to watch our team, players managers get paid to play football and then this happens. know we are not full time but just unprofessional and would have expected more from experienced manager and club. I think cheltenham racing is 3 days so why go on tuesday when we would normally play games or would be a training night. remember when we got relegated after fa cup run season and players could not do thursday saturday tuesday. think it mistake doing 3 games so quickly. hope im wrong
