Should be fun..........question for all you clever clogs.
A cricket team numbering one to eleven go into bat. Each batsman is out first ball. what number batsman remains in at the end of the innings ?
Don't follow cricket Dan, shame on you. Numbers 1 and 2 go into bat . Number 1 is out followed by 3,4,5,6 and 7. Number 8 comes in at this point but it is the end of the over and bowling changes end. No 2, 9 ,10 and 11 are dismissed leaving No 8 who never had to face a ball. Simples.
Not sure about this. You say each batsman out first ball but you don't say how. What if they are run out and have crossed? what if they smash it down to cow corner and are caught after the two batsman have crossed? you are assuming that the last two are 11 and 8 but what if 10 and 8 cross the previous ball? then 8 is out and 11 is last man. Ill collect my free 50/50 in a bit.
John each player was bowled. The fielding side had two demon fast bowlers, namely ' Dynamic Dave' and 'Typhoon Tony' both bowling at 100 miles an hour. Stumps were shattered and bails went flying everywhere.
That well known pundit Geoffrey Boycott was reported as saying that he had never seen anything like it.
Superb nights entertainment tonight. Many thanks to Phil and Barbara for a great quiz, congratulations to Pats people for a very close win and commiserations to the chairman and his team for coming last, although it must be said they missed out on quite a number of points due to his and Hayley's birthday celebrations and forgetting to complete a round, better luck next time.
Glad you enjoyed it, well done to Pats People. There can't be many directors of Arsenal , Chelsea , Man Utd etc. that know where SpongeBob Square Pants lives !!!!.
