Well, plenty of incident and five well taken goals made for a good evening, and not quite as cold as I feared. Maybe we were flattered a little by the margin and up to the 35th minute it was hard to see us scoring at all, let alone five.
Of course the outcome may have been a bit different if they hadn't missed an absolute sitter at 2-1 but I felt their penalty was a little soft, unlike their first which was yet another cracking goal !
Hard not to give MotM to Crutts who showed his quality with two clinical strikes and it's not often we see Sammy get a goal like that with his LEFT foot.
Sadly another blank for Zac who fluffed his only real chance while Billy showed exactly why he deserves to 'lead the line' with another fine strike.
Disappointments ? Well ANOTHER goal conceded at a dead ball (OK, it was a good one), Zac (again) and Ollie, who has been impressive all season but didn't seem to do much right tonight.
Perhaps the most PLEASING thing though is, at 3-2 with them pushing forward, for once we did put the game properly to bed with two good goals. It's not too often we do that and often end up 'hanging on' in similar circumstances.
To sum up, I came away contented....but not necessarily convinced !
Well Mick has made my life easy today. Totally agree with every point made. What I will say is that Zac just cannot be 100% fit. He didn't look mobile enough last night and to be honest, I forgot he was playing at times he was so anonymous. That is the poorest I have ever seen him. As for Ollie Rowe, arguably our best signing this season, he appears to be yet another victim of the full back curse. Looks half the player at right back then he is at centre back. Good 3 points though against an improved East Grinstead team.
Wasn't there but was the sending off of theirs justified, sounded on Twitter like he pushed our new keeper? That changed the flow of the game I presume as we scored shortly afterwards.
Thats how it looked Dan. Admittedly I was up the other end but it was the old shoving match when they tried to get the ball back from our keeper after scoring the penalty. Definately looked as though he raised his hand though
Agree completely with Micks analysis . Have to say young Sam is so pleasing to watch at the moment. He's going to be a star

Keeper held on to the ball after the penalty went in. Grinstead player tried to take it off him, and clumsily knocked him over. Melee insued. Referee sent off grin stead player. Ironically after all this the keeper was still holding on to the ball!
Maybe their guy was a little unlucky to get a red. It's a typical situation, a team scores and want to get the game restarted quickly and the keeper holds on to the ball. Inevitably there's a bit of a tussle and on this occasion our keeper ended up on the ground. Was he struck or manhandled too aggressively ? Who can be sure. What it did do was fire them up which curiously may have worked against them as they rather lost their discipline at the back and we plundered two more goals. It wasn't so much Ollies defending that bothered me; rather the fact that whenever he tried to get forward he either lost the ball or when he tried to cross it he seemed to be using a putter rather than a five iron, if you get my meaning !
