With Christmas on it’s way and the majority of us getting out of bed to enjoy presents, good food and quality time with the family, Have a Hastings Heart is a scheme where you can help bring a smile to the faces of the people who won’t get that this year.
In the scheme we’re running, we are asking for gifts around £5 and over, labelled for a boy/girl man/woman and the age group it’s intended for. These can be dropped behind the bar, PA Box, any Club official or to Karen Rose in the Youth Tea Bar.
The scheme is run every year and directed towards to Kipling Ward of the Conquest Hospital and after last year’s success, we’re doing even more this year. We will be donating to the Kipling Ward, and to the lovely residents of the Lauriston Care Home by Garage on the Green, the home in which Pat McCrossan is manager.
Please get behind this scheme and drop your gifts off by the end of November to early December and bring a smile to these people’s faces from your Hastings Heart.
