After the good win against Tooting we have another away game and now it will be against
Worthing is currently the number 7 in the table with 24 points out of 12 games. They won 8 and lost 4 ( so no draws! )
They also played ( like us ) fewer games then the rest and normally they would be in a play - off place.
The Rebels win over South Park was their fourth win in a row, strangely that their substitute in the 90th minute Morey was sent off 2 minutes later.
We lost a home against Worthing 4 weeks ago 1-3 and that was the memorable Sam Adams's 400th appearance for our club.
Worthing play at: Worthing FC, Woodside Road , Worthing
And we ? The Management rewarded Tyrell Richardson-Brown and Bright Temba for their goals against Tonbridge and they played upfront with Billy Medlock. Zac Attwood is still injured like also Sean Ray. Sam Cruttwell had another good game and hopefully the U's will have another good game against a very strong side. Good luck to the team and safe journey for our travelling supporters!

great win for team tonight, sounds like we were under cosh second half but hold on and got 3 points so important and hope we can get another 3 on saturday, well done
Great result and a deserved win in the end. First half we were the better team but Worthing came out in the second half and made a game of it. The ref had a good game until he started issuing yellow cards but the Worthing player only had himself to blame as he had just got a yellow for pulling someone back and then did it again under the ref's nose. I thought Sam's second yellow was harsh and the ref appeared to want to even it up but I wouldn't complain about his first card for a rash challenge.
Overall the team played very well and Jack had another good game as part of a back three alongside Razor and Ollie. My MoM was Sam Cruttwell after another fine display in centre midfield closely followed by Billy but no one had a bad game and there were lots of very good performances tonight. Looking forward to Saturday.
Thanks again to all of the players and management for an entertaining evening and three more points.
Didn't go but reading between the lines from both forums and people who went does sound like we pulled off a smash and grab raid here and the score could have been a lot closer but that's ok at this stage, points over performance is still the overwhelming priority and if we have to scrap our way back into playoff contention in games like this then fine. A really convincing home performance is surely due soon though, hopefully Saturday!
Also Medlocks vital for us right now, just his knack of getting seemingly a poachers goal every game is worth its weight in gold.
First half we were good and could of and should of had a bigger lead with Billy opting to go for a header when a side foot from 5 yards out would of certainly added to our tally. Their keeper pulled off a couple of outstanding saves to keep the score down but having said that so did Josh. No doubt they got going in the second half and threw everything but the kitchen sink at us and in all honesty I thought a draw would have been a fair result but I'm not complaining. I didn't see the two sending offs as they were below me in the stand but I saw both players first yellows and I've seen players get away with worse. I just knew as soon as the ref sent their player off that he would send Coley off, it was so obvious. Once again Crutts is showing that despite his tender years he's really developing into a good player, if he could just cut out his waywood passing then he'd be superb, having said that it's not just him who's at fault for that. Great to see Razor back playing and credit to Walder that since he's dropped into the defence he's certainly contained his temper better. Chuffed we got all 3 points, winning 3 on the bounce will build confidence considerably but we mustn't be complacent. Well done boys.
2 good away wins, and last night encouraging against a very strong Worthing side. Lets hope this is the start of a good run, something we never manage to pull together!
