I see that Sam is due to make his 400th appearance for the Club on Tuesday night. What a magnificent achievement ,bearing in mind all the comings and goings in the last few years. Sam have been a 'Mr.Consistent' during this time, always putting in a 7/10 performance. I think this will put him fourth on the all time list of appearances behind Tony Burt (514) Terry White (599) and Steve Willard (600 plus),although no doubt a stats man may correct me. I hope the club are planning a small presentation.
It truly is a monumental achievement in any type of football but especially in non league with so many players not on contract and are in theory free to go as they please if another club comes calling.
