Hastings United Football Club is delighted to announce that The Burney Property Group will be its main shirt sponsor for both the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons.

Speaking on behalf of the Club, Chairman Dave Ormerod said, "We are excited by this new major partnership and are looking forward to seeing the players wearing the shirts for what will hopefully be a memorable season ahead."

CEO of Burney Group, Daren Burney, was equally delighted to announce the two year sponsorship deal. "Due to the company's increased development activity in Hastings, and in the surrounding areas, we decided that it was important to support the local football club", he commented.

"We were impressed by the Board of Directors' vision and plans for the Club, which is healthy and exciting for the town. We were also pleased to see the assistance, help and support that the Club receives from its local volunteer workforce, and from its Supporters' Club. From this, it is obvious that there is a real community feeling and a desire to see the Club prosper, and we are happy to play a part in making this happen."

United's new home and change kits were unveiled on the website last week, and the sponsor's logo will now be added by Macron Store. Supporters will be able to purchase the new shirts from the Club, from the Macron Store outlet in Castleham Road, or from their online shop, in the near future.

More good news - further signs that this is a new chapter. A two year deal is probably something we haven't been used to. Well done, Dave O, the Board and Burney Group. Also great recognition of the hard work and commitment of volunteers.

Very good news indeed and even better its for 2 years, much more security than relying on the sale of raffle tickets.

Defiantly agree with that, very good news all round, also allows firms who would have spent on the raffle to sponsor games / match balls etc lots of which were given away as runners up prizes in the raffle in the last couple of years. Should help the budget a lot.

Yes, very positive. Commercial involvement and wider partnerships are something which the club has to develop in order to progress.
