I know now this isn't at all football related, but I'll make sure it is by the end of this paragraph! As some of you may know, I travelled to Uganda in April last year to visit a rural village in severe poverty called Kabubbu. After ten days of teaching, farming, helping out individual families, building, painting & decorating, playing with orphans and football matches with schools, I left with a heavy heart with the intention to return at some point. We will be doing the same voluntary tasks when we return this year, but Hastings United have kindly donated a whole football kit to the village. I will get a picture out there of the locals wearing it.

I've been lucky enough to be presented with the opportunity to travel out again, in August this year, but unfortunately it doesn't come cheap. I've been doing various fundraising tasks throughout the year, including a promotional video with ITV's Phillip Schofield at long-running TV Chatshow, This Morning.

If anyone can spare a few quid, it will be high appreciated and will go so far. Please watch the attached video and share it around. My group needs to raise just under £1000 in just under two months so every little helps.
