Well, what has been rumoured for decades has at long last become the subject of criminal investigation. Of course the alleged doings of FIFA are some distance away from football at our level; but it's in the interest of all those who love football that it's honest and free from any taint of corruption throughout. May this be the start of a long process to return the game to those that actually matter - the supporters and those who play, whether paid a pittance or a fortune, for the love of the game.
