Amazing to think that Hastings Utd has played against both teams,with great credit,who today played the play off final at Wembley. Norwich ,who return to the Premiership ,and Middlesborough.
Yes, an interesting irony given our present status. Commiseration to Middlesborough who were excellent hosts on our big day (so sadly now receding into memory) and congratulations to Norwich. A reminder if any were needed of how far we must travel to fulfill the legitimate ambitions of our town.
Oh come on get real, we are 1division lower than when we played Middlesbrough and if my memory serves me well Norwich were one division lower before the start of the game. We haven't fallen that far, and that can be rectified quickly if things go well. I would be more respectful of posts like this if we were compared to Crawley, Cheltenham or Dover, all clubs we played and matched on a regular basis in times past.
