Margate have released 7 players including Matt Armstong Ford and John Beales ex Utd. Also Ramsgate have signed Ian Pulman from Whistable. Hope we hear that we have our new manager soon so he can start on getting the team he wants.
Think you will find that Maidstone have released a load as well.
Interesting to see Zac Attwood was not involved in any of the play off games, is he still at Margate or injured? He has hardly played this season and forget the silly money he was on, he should just be wanting to play and would love to see him back at Hastings.
John Beales....remember him a few seasons back in fa cup came at Bognor...went 2.0 up...Bognor pulled it back 2.2......92nd minute heading for replay back at the pilot field....when John Beales made a suicidal back pass from the half way line for one Jason Prior to grab a late winner...ggggrrrrrr....out of favour ever since!!!
Just caught up on this ...I spoke to Zac on the day of the play off semi and the final day ...he wasn't playing because he was injured ..achilles injury ...despite rumours, he has been involved with Gate ' all season but has had a problematic injury . I noticed Matt Armstrong-Ford was there for a while too . Zac scored 3 goals In 15 games for them .
