I could see the logic of moving the games to Monday to avoid CL games on tv, but Monday night premiership games seem to be more regular now and probably more exciting than CL. Attendances slightly Improved for midweek games but If that extra days rest improves performances than Tuesdays would be much better. Let's be honest, it doesn't matter what's on tv, attendances in the week will drop anyway if we give the same performances on a Monday night as we did last season.
Personally I think it was defiantly worth a try and certainly initially seemed to work but then results over the two seasons were extremely disappointing which obviously lowered the gates and made it impossible to judge the true effects of the switch.
I think probably best to return to Tuesday nights for next season as it removes one more possible reason for tiredness which if it helps at all will probably bring results which will make up the possible difference anyway.
hope monday as cant do tuesday cos play pool or if not stay with monday wednesday. thought crowds were much better last 2 season with monday cos to much other football on tuesday on tv and local
