I am pleased to announce that the Hastings United supporters team will be playing a charity match versus Medway Rovers (Gillingham) on Saturday 25th April at the Pilot Field, 8pm k/o. This should allow all supporters to get back from the Walton & Hersham game on that day.
The match is in aid of two charities, the first being Macmillan cancer support and the other is "help Ruby Laura smash cancer" fundraising scheme. Ruby Laura is a young girl who has stage 4 cancer and the treatment is not NHS funded and they are trying to raise 500k to provide her with a full course of treatment. Further details of young Ruby and her brave battle can be found on facebook.
Medway Rovers are bringing 2 coach loads with them on the night and there should be great support on the evening so would be great if the players families and other supporters can support these very worthy causes on the night as well as celebrating the U's staying in the Ryman premier. There will be a PA system on the night and both the burger bar and bar will be open all evening.
If anyone would like any further details about the night please let me know.
A real shame we are going to miss this but tickets booked and paid for weeks ago for a concert down the Old Town ( The Fall , not Girls Aloud )....well done to those involved . John can I pass donations for both charities to you please ? I don't do Facebook .
It'll be good to have you back Dan! Our very own Terry White, not very mobile but a decent left foot!
Having flashbacks back to when the originals first started playing, me skying that penalty v Eastbourne, Howard running scared from Spicer, it got better when Frenchy and Godders came along. Sandy still can't head the ball... Pure comedy
Should be a good night, looking forward to seeing you all there!

New kit turned up today, looks great. At least we will look like a football team even if we struggle to play like one. XXXXXL ordered for Rimmer and Ollie King. Sadly the kit was ordered before Dan Hackett committed so may be a tight fit for him.
