Tas hasn't tweeted anything since yesterday so I'm not sure where that has come from, maybe the same poster who claimed someone was banned from the ground the other week? I've certainly not heard anything to suggest that.

I hope it's not true but have to say he didn't look interested last night. Perhaps he's sick and tired of NK playing him down the left.

Well if he's deleted it already then maybe he's not gone but probably quite angry and pissed off, who hasn't done similar before sounding off about their job then regretting it and taking it back?

Hope he hasn't gone although agree he's not been utilised great of late

Let's also put this into perspective guys. Twice over the past few weeks I have heard individuals shout at Taser to work harder and track back. there was no bad language , just frustration. On one occasion he gave a mouthful of abuse to someone I don't know and on Saturday he gave the 100 yard stare to someone I do know. If players can't handle that then good riddance. For all his frustrations I love Taser as a player and I really hope this is not true but if it is then this stinks of a bit of leaving a sinking ship or not having the bottle for the fight. If the abuse has been more then I certainly have not heard it home or away. Very easy to blame the fans and deflect away from what happened last night.

I agree with John. I have not heard any abuse of Taser at the ground; (and I can't see anything on this forum that is inappropriate in that regard either). I would like him to remain; but I agree with Dan that he could and should have had his undoubted talents employed to better effect. Still time for that to happen.

Spot on John. I'm not sure what abuse he got but if it was out of order then Excusing it by saying he's pathetic and heat and kitchen phrases is premature . It may be better to find out what was said first.

And hopefully all the supporters - how emotional we all can be - will stay behind our players.

I remember seeing that 100 yard stare on saturday,  but lets be honest about it .....  somebody had just shouted " You useless F...ing Pri*k"  at him.   if it is true about him leaving whom ever shouted that should hang their head. As supporters like that nobody needs.

Apparently im getting the blame for something I shouted at the weekend !! Eh ??? Really ? I can remember shouting for him to get a move on but I certainly did not use the words that are being quoted ,,,if he is offended by that then I am sorry for showing emotion...maybe if the rest of you sang and cheered as much as I do during a game then players wouldn't hear the abuse ,,, abuse to be frank is wrong but almost justified at the moment ,,,but please don't banter my name around as the reason for Taser leaving ,,, !!!  I'm not being the scape goat for this god damn awful sesson ,,, oh and I wasn't even at the game on Monday ...thankfully ....and if I hear anymore accusations you won't be seeing me there again !!

I don't condone that sort of language but if somebody has paid £10 to watch his team in a massive relegation fight and a player is perceived to be putting in less than 100%, I suppose we can't expect the supporter to say "Oh come on now, old chap, perhaps you ought to run around a bit". Trouble is, with the ground as quiet as it is, you can hear somebody breaking wind in the bar from the Cole Warren ...so the players will hear every word. We need strong characters now, people who can handle the situation. We've got maybe 3/4 players who can handle it, the rest don't seem to be able to.

I know who Taser gave long stare to on Saturday n that person didn't use a swear he told Taser to get a move as we was countering and he was jogging up the pitch, I go every home game n most away and I've never heard someone say you useless prick to him especially not who he gave a stare to on Saturday.

Really interested in your comments Deadball. There were a lot of people behind the goal on Saturday and you are the only one that heard that said. Can anyone else back up this story? Maybe it's the same phantom shouter that upset Joe Shelley. As for Windy that's just a complete and utter joke. Anyone who knows him, knows he is one of the most loyal and passionate blokes at the football club as well as being a thoroughly nice bloke and a close friend. Just a cheap shot in my book and as I said previously, very easy to deflect the blame to the fans. Just look now, suddenly we are talking about the fans and no mention of the players performance or manager. They must be over the moon with this. What a joke!!

If Taser has genuine 'personal issues ' for leaving then I wish him well but it just occurs to me that you don't very often see players leave for that reason when their teams in a promotion battle or on a good cup run do you?

Wasn't that long ago that the player was being touted on here as "the best winger in the League".........that probably ranks alongside "we're too good to go down", "we'll get a 20 goals a season striker", "we're looking up the league not down it", "we're getting fitter and stronger"..........

There are an awful lot of assumptions on here. As Kevin states, and Taser has on twitter, he has personal issues. We don't know what they are and it's not our business to know. Let's not start making scapegoats without knowing the whole story And certainly not start accusing an innocent man. I suggest that at the next home game, Deadball introduces himself and points out the alleged abuser so someone can have a quiet word and draw a line under this.  Let's just get back to the football chat because some supporters will be absolutely loving this.

It seems that one person heard a comment that nobody else did, so I'm pretty sure it didn't happen! There is absolutely no way that Windy - one of the nicest blokes on the planet - would ever have said that. Windy will always have my utter respect for the way he supports his team. Time for pointless stirring to stop and all join together. Things are bad enough without infighting like this.

Can't disagree with that Overthehill. Getting back on the proper subject and away from the other rubbish, Taser has undoubtably not lived up to the hype. Is this because he is not as good as we thought or has he been mismanaged? I spoke to Dom after he left and in his eyes Taser was our jewel in the crown and our best and most talented footballer by far. His long term aim was to build the team around him and played him in his best position of wide right. NK for whatever reason has stuck him out on left. His crossing has been poor for an out and out winger and his goal for game ratio also poor, 5 in 35 app. Some people have questioned his work rate and even his assists are well below the likes of the two Sammy's. Personally, I could tolerate the lack of all of those because he was that only player that could produce that bit of magic that no other player could do and he was the type of exciting player we just don't see anymore at the Pilot Field. Pace, skill, flamboyance, touch of arrogance, all what I love to see in a footballer and for me long term, he will be sorely missed. Short term, when we need battle hardened troops for the battle ahead, I'm not so sure.

We all know what personal issues means, they have had enough at Hastings and in a few weeks they will turn out for someone else, If its to do with money and a pay cut don't blame him, if its anything else then its pathetic and good riddance.

I've known Windy long enough to know his signature phrase to yell is "Take 'im on!" Taser is a big loss at an awful time. Bags of potential and full of excitement when player in the right position on a good day. A right handful against Merstham and Herne Bay too.
I had the same conversation with Dom about Taser as John did. He was going to build a team around him and make sure he always had the strive to go forward.
We need a replacement and we need it fast so we'll see what kind of contacts NK has or whether he'll bring in more youth players..

I never pointed the finger at any one regarding what i heard being shouted as i couldn't see who it was, all i said was i heard it being shouted by some one!!. And even I muttered "for gods sake !" in frustration when Taser cut through into the middle just inside the box, then lost possession of the ball !! Taser's 100 yard stare, seemed to be more of a "who the F said that ?" type of glare, as he scanned the warren stand.
So if someone is thinking that they are the one he was staring at, and that my comment was aimed at them personally, I don't know why ..........

Think this matter is done and dusted , wasn't there on saturday but no way would windy say anything that isnt unjustified or malicious in any way towards anyone, taser has said he left for personal reasons- whatever they may be and we just have to get on with it and stop making excuses as to why you think he left, whats the point in making a mountain out of a mole hill situation just to bring the club down further!?

I was standing opposite the main stand in the Casuals half and clearly heard the comment Dead ball. Taser is the most frustrating player..a rapid attack on the right wing and he made no attempt to get forward to support them.in the second half only once remember him taking on the full back otherwise always looking to make short passes to others....the safe option. Yes he was a little better on the right and scored a rare very good goal at Herne Bay but even though he has speed and some skill rarely got in where it would hurt the opposition. So perhaps it shows up clearly the problems we have in coaching and playing players out of position .In Sean with his great heading ability and Ade with his drive and strength in getting in front of the player we have two players who can pass on their experience to younger ones...is this being used?Agree with others that our problem is that we are not getting enough quick support up to the striker so with the players we have agree with John W's team especially Sam C. In midfield to get his confidence back.

I was standing close to Windy on Saturday and can confirm that Windy did not say anything abusive towards Tas that anyone of us would ordinarily say at a match to encourage our players, however I did hear someone call Tas a F***ing P**ck, I looked to see who it was but could only make out that it came from someone standing directly behind the goal near to the barriers. I've spoken to Tas and he's told me that although some comments did hit a nerve he does have genuine personal reasons for leaving and nothing else.
I'd like to wish him all the best for the future, he's a fantastic lad and I'd love to see him back playing for us again in the future.

I'd imagine his travel situation has changed massively since the beginning of the season too, since he used to share lifts with Frankie, Jahmahl, Bankole etc who all came down with him from London, obviously hes been doing that journey on his own now for a while and maybe something has occurred recently that has eventually broken the camels back in that respect.

Before anyone says anything i'm certainly not saying its a valid excuse on its own or anything like that but maybe its possibly something else which has contributed to the personal issues mentioned being a problem?

I've just spoken to NK on the phone and the main reason for departure was the travel - he's relocated to North London which makes it very awkward for him to get here and back. Apparently he got home at 1am on Monday evening...

North London to Hastings?... Ouch, bad enough from Lewisham, can take over an hour to get through the center of town. I wouldnt do it for all the tea in China so don't blame him if hes tried it and had enough.

If you believe that is the reason then so be it. Why say personal reasons then, why nor tell the truth if its travel due to relocation, as that reason is understandable.

Just wanted to agree with john and windy regarding the so called abuse that was shouted at tas As most of you are aware on here we stand behind the goal week in and week out and at no point was any swearing or abusive language directed at tas from us regulars behind the goal All that was shouted at him was for him to track back and help out I think more out of frustation than anything so to use a loyal long time supporter as a scapegoat if true is pathetic
We are in a relegation battle like it or not so if a supporter sees a player be it Tas or anyone looking like he dosent want to be their and not putting in a shift then of course he is going to voice his opinion and righty so but i say again at no time was bad language used As lenny confirmed it was from a diffrent area then any of us directly behind the goal Hope to see you at next home game windy ur a true supporter mate

That was bloody quick. Something dodgy going on there.

Deres manager Matt Longhurst had the following to say about our exciting new signing.

It's with great delight that I'm able to announce a new signing this week with Taser Hassan joining the club from Hastings United FC, I have been keeping tabs on him for a while now, he's a player I've liked for a few seasons and after leaving Hastings for personal reasons I'm delighted to secure his services he's a local lad now and an exciting player to watch and after a long conversation I was pleased he agreed to join us for all the right reasons he's a great lad and will fit into the group.

'Local lad now' makes sense though not quite North London although still much closer and quicker than us. County league though.

Suppose the real personal reason could be manager, chairman, fans or team mates, not impressed by his football ability or his attitude.

Nice club but nowhere near North London! Remember going there on a pre season friendly a few seasons ago. How I love the pre season friendlies- all of us happy and chatty and full of hope and cameraderie. Then the season starts and we all deflate quicker than a space hopper on a nail bed.

I think that if you are going to travel a fair distance to work, there needs to be some real incentives and job satisfaction to make it worthwhile. Imagine you are travelling to work for a company that is going downhill fast, with owners running out of ideas, managers who don't seem to be up to the task, colleagues who are largely short of application, there is no training and development, and customer satisfaction is at an all time low. Then a less glamorous employer who is closer to home and appears to be heading in the opposite direction, asks you to go and work for them. What would you do? You'd probably go. When the choice is made, you either go quietly, citing personal reasons, or you come out and say my former employer is a total shambles and I couldn't take any more.
