Jordan - the big question is ...should he shave off the beard ? It was a question the was put up on twitter yesterday by the lad himself ...but out of all the answers came some enlightening information . In my opinion , for what it's worth, Jordan has been very loyal to HUFC . He's been around the club for a few years now ...but it now seems that the new management team have managed to get into his head and given him some real belief . He seems quite happy to wait his time to win a place in the starting lineup . How refreshing to see that of a local player ? If management can channel his aggression , that has let him down at times even recently maybe, into the skill that he undoubtably has then maybe he could be turned into a force to be reckoned with . He is never going to be the quickest player on the pitch but I believe he has the ability to claim a regular first team spot . JohnW has often said that he would love to get hold of Jordan and turn him into a decent player, maybe this management team are just about to do that ? Reading between the lines he certainly seems to believe in them ..so well done to all . Oh yeah and maybe the beard should go

Think Jordan's a class player when he's fully fit, motivated and feels wanted. Like you say Windy he certainly does seem that at the moment and he has been on fire in terms if goals for his dual reg club so would be great to see him do the same for us!
Think I'd have him just behind a striker on the right hand side. Crossing is good and he can crack a shot from the edge of the area. At Whitstable, he was only just wide from an incredible audacious volley from a corner!
Where would you best play him though Windy? Very versatile but that may have hurt as well as helped him so far.
My point is Dan is its nice to hear a player feeling comfortable and willing to wait for his chance as he has obviously had reassurance from management . I would play him at right midfield , although he's versatile enough to play anywhere from midfield or even upfront . It's a great chance for Jordan himself to show he can develope .
Jordan is not quick enough to be out on the right, not yet anyway, particularly with some of the 'speedsters' we have in the Ryman South this year. I would have him in the Teddy Sheringham role all day long and give him licence to roam, almost a free role. Unfortunately to play that role you need a 30 goal a season striker in front of you and not sure you can play that role anyway when you are playing out and out wingers such as Aaron and Taser. Great player, great potential and definitely a fans favourite but I think best he can aim for this season is as an impact player of the bench.
The point I was trying to raise wasn't so much where he could play but just the fact I find it encouraging that the management team have made him feel that they can work together with him to get him more involved in the side ...he's a local lad and it's just good to see
I agree Windy. It's clear to see that he likes to play and wants to play. The last few games his effort has been absolutely second to none, and I think his stint and Ringmer really helped with his fitness. As long as he keeps working hard with that and puts the effort in on the pitch, I can't see why he can't be a regular week in-week out in the first team.
Good to have a player who appears to want to play for Hastings. Jordan has been very loyal over the last few seasons and hope he manages to do full justice to his ability.
Been called a lot worse Chris and certainly wouldnt take offence at those terms, Only found out from asking myself after seeing Liam's post. Same as you or anyone could do So no in the loop about that.
