Thought supporters old and new, may be interested in a few scans of old programmes. The first is, FA Cup 1959 v Notts County, the second, Bobby Drake Testimonial 1974, the third is from the last season of the original Hastings United 1985, the last is also 1985, Hastings Town. Now replacing United in the Southern league.
Vernon - These are brilliant . I had the pleasure of playing with Bobby Drake a few years after his testimonial ...he was at Rye and I had a few games with them ...must have been 1977 . He was a scarey guy but I learnt also what a real gentleman he was too . He was really good at encouraging crap young players like me ..If I remember he had another ex Hufc legend , Bobby Nash , playing alongside him. The were awesome players ! Love the Hastings Town picture too ,..keep em coming mate !!!
