Is Andy Corrigan the most loyal, unfortunate or unlucky player we have had in the past few years? We have had a massive coming and going of players over the past 2 seasons, players turn up when they want because of work commitments, players refusing to play in certain cup games, players unable to make Boxing day fixtures and yet Andy seems to be on the bench every game. He never gets on despite constant average performances from numerous full backs and yet he is still with us and turns up home and away every week. Does Maggs just not fancy him or is it something else? Just thought he was worth a mention in an era when players at all levels will leave a club at the drop of a hat.
Andy is a fantastic lad and football wise I believe he is probably a better option at right back and thoroughly deserves a chance. I totally agree with you John he's shown loyalty since he's been here, understandably he's got frustrated at times and is still here trying when many others would have and indeed have walked.
I know Andy from when he was young and he and my son used to train at an Arsenal advanced centre and has always impressed me. Why he's not getting a chance? I don't know! As we all know its a a game of opinions, what he has to do to change Johns opinion only John knows but I'm pleased he's still sticking at it when so many players would have walked by now and that's testament to what a good lad he is.
Keen , eager, committed and a very good player, can play either left or right back and if given the chance will perform better then others! He's all ways attending training week in week out and has worked very hard to be at the level he's at, he's only 21 so has many years to learn and progress and stepping down to county level will not help him at all, maggs needs to give him a chance to show everyone what he can do !
Yeah but judgey is tall aswell need bit more strength n I'm not against Corrigan just find it that if he can't hold down place in Sussex county 2 team (Eastbourne United) then I wonder if he ready for us
