This was a picture from 20th September 1980 of an away game at Crawley which was played at their Town Mead stadium before they moved to the Broadfield.

I think we lost the game 0-1 but won the home fixture 4-0.

I see John Maggs was manager at the time and these were his programme notes!

This was an FA Cup 1st Qualifiying round tie against Gosport Borough at their Privett Park ground on 13th September 1980.

I Dont know what the final score was though.

Can anyone spot Micky Westburgh and Nicky Sparks and also Bobby Glozier and Micky Crowe.002.JPG003.JPG

I was at that Gosport game and I'm pretty sure it was a o-o draw, and I seem to remember we lost the replay 2-0. Funny how I can remember scores from over 30 year ago, but struggle to remember the scores from last season!
