I hear Tom O'Connor was retained by Bromley at the weekend only for them to leave him on the bench ,,,,nice move Bromley !! Whats the current situation with Tom and us ? He seems quite a useful little player ,,,maybe the right guy to step in Tim's shoes during his suspension ?

Bromley have done nothing wrong, this is what happens with dual registration players.

Can you tell me something I didnt know ? Just seems a bit unfair on a lad who probably just wants to play football ! Will he still be available for us or have Bromley recalled him permanently ?

Why have a dig at Bromley, Doubt he was forced to sign for them.

I'll try to answer that for you Windy. I would think that he's still available for us, I'm sure that he would be dual registered with similar conditions to players that are dual registered from our club and that's their main priority is with their parent club therefore if Bromley want him for one of their games then he would be expected to be available.

Ha ha thats a luagh ! think most people on here wonder why on earth you have a dig at anyone ChrisB  !!!       You seem to get a kick out of it.but whatever floats yer boat !!!    I've never seen such an agressive keyboard warrior!        Cheers Lenny ,,,thats all I wanted to know ! I would like to see Tom play sort of regular part in the U's lineup. So hopefully we can see him back in a United shirt soon.

I agree Windy, he looks to have a good future ahead of him.

Chris you need to tone your posts down. Yes I agree its a forum and people have a right to their view but there's a way of getting the across., your posts come across rude to almost everyone you reply to, it's only common courtesy.

Lenny there is nothing in these posts on this thread, it's not me that is questioning Bromley a club that have helped us out many times. Think you should direct you remarks to Windy, someone who does not seem to fully understand dual registration.

Off this thread and I really believe that it's the Sean Ray thread that's upsetting you as I know from your previous comments you were a big Razor fan, I say it as I see it and you can't have a love in forum where we all agree, as you say. But I don't contradict myself as a lot do one minute it's we must back Maggs the next it's saying he is not behaving in an appropriate way to an ex player / manager. As I have said I question Maggs and some of his decisions especially in the first few games, but I also said he must be given a chance.

John....er Windy, you should have a word with your Dad about dual registration, he thinks that they should not be allowed at all. I tend to agree with him,you should just play for one club.

Is Dual Reg is recent innovation in nonleague or has it been around for decades?

I actually agree that a straight loan is much better as at least the player can commit to the club hes playing for ( to an extent of course ) for a set period.

Obviously in dual reg the advantage is with the parent club like ourselves with Matt Maclean for example who came back to play in the league cup tie i think so we do it to other clubs as well.

But agree yeah that loans are better for the fans / loaning club you can always have recall clauses anyway

Whether you're for or against it, dual registered players have helped us out over the years. Ross Treleaven springs to mind, wasn't Bradley Goldberg also dual registered? (Despite playing most of the season with us).

Genuine question by Windy that didn't warrant such stroppy replies by Princess Chris, stop getting your knickers in a twist.

Chris where does Windy question Bromley? All he said was "nice move" . It's hardly questioning them is it, as he has also said the lad just wants to play football. I understand how it works with dual registrations, I've probably had experience of it a lot more in recent years than you!

I don't see what my opinions of Sean Ray has to do with your reply to me? It certainly has nothing to do with this thread and the fact that you are rude person and take any opportunity you can to have a dig at any individual on here you can. There is a way of replying to people that doesn't need you to be rude.I know that it's not just my opinion so I suggest that you change the way you respond to replies, it's quite clear in the forum rules about being rude.

Yeah thats why I posted in the first place Phil, for Dad it wasn't just for me , although I agree I am not a fan of loans either...as you maybe aware he doesn't like going on this forum ....can't imagine why ...Just as well as he would have been very unhappy with a certain response...seems like you are not allowed to comment unless you have run it pass god first !
