Pelling without doubt should be MOM. 3 points would have been a robbery.

Quite right - Leatherhead a more than decent side - their 9 was what United need, their 11 looked lethal every time he went forward and the 6 was very dependable in defence - classic strong spine. But while Josh Pelling undoubtedly earnt his keep in that second half, there was enough going on the other end to keep people on their toes. Akwasi is forgiven for his basketball moment against Guernsey - he was excellent going forward and Kenny Pogue - as has been mooted elsewhere on here - was excellent when he came on.

More than a fair result - after the Merstham debacle I think we would all have been more than happy with 7/9 points from the next three games! I thought Guernsey looked good - but Leatherhead look a better all round side.

Decent game, decent crowd, fair result. Think we tried to sign Draycott but they were willing to pay more than we thought he was worth considering his goals record.

Maggs made an approach for him as soon as he became available. I don't know how much was offered but once again I'm sure travelling played its part.

Heard he's on roughly over £300 a game I think, a large amount for Ryman south

Not at our best yet we still manage a point against the best team i have seen this season. very positive from that point of view. good 'midweek' crowd and surprised how few came from leatherhead. good that guernsey and gatwick never got full points last night so although we drop 2 points not much damage done.

great saves by pelling, my man of match. nice finish by sam to equalise.
