Ryman League Division One South leaders Walton Casuals earned a seventh consecutive win over an in-form Burgess Hill Town side on Tuesday night to move eight points clear. It will be huge task for Hastings to get a result there. Walton won 9 of their eleven games ,lost 2 ( against us at The Pilot Field 1-0 ) and they have already scored 23 times. If we want to remain in the top of the table we need at least a draw. I think our line up will be a little bit different then the home game. Come on '' U ''.Who is going ? If i see the attendances at their home games , maybe we will have the majority there !!!!!!!!!

Will have to have a quiet word with my Dad's namesake and ex hammer Tony Gale to ask his Casuals to go easy on us this week end, seeing he is their chairman,,,,,I believe his son Anthony was a player and a manager there for a bit too !!! We will do well to get a result but we can do it !!!
This was the line-up in our homegame against Walton:
Hastings United (4-5-1)
1 Josh Pelling
3 Andy Henson 5 Ben Judge (c) 6 Sean Kelly 2 Tom Gilbert
9 Jamie Crone 7 Matt Maclean 4 Tim Olorunda 10 Matt Darby 8 Sam Adams
11 Kenny Pogue
In the last win at Herne Bay we had already 5 changes in the team: Slocombe, Fobi-Edusei,Ellis,Camara and Bah.
Maybe Maggs has still a surprise for tomorrow's game for us?
The club are pleased to announce the signing of 31 year old midfielder Simon Huckle from Metroplitian Police. Manager Mark Hams commented " I know Simon from our time together at Kingstonian, so I know what am getting, Simon's ambition matches the clubs, he can play anywhere down the spine of the team and he will put his face where many won't put their foot "
