Now I see ment really seen much of our under 21s but I'm sure 3 points is in order. A reason I started this topic is because I heard a little runour going around that crone is playing for them tonight. what's this all about ? Is this a way to basically say ' your not good enough, try again soon' ??
Should be a really good game, Maidstone are a really good side, won 8-0 last time out against a really strong burgess hill squad, will be a mixture of subs from front side and obviously the under 21 squad
And why shouldn't you be playing for the u21's tonight Jamie...? You have been on holiday, had very little game time, I would think its the perfect opportunity for you to go out there and prove to the management you warrant a first team place. The right decision in my opinion, nothing to do with your ability
Not sure if Jamie reads this forum but hopefully he does as that is great advice John. If he proves himself and stands out tonight then it's only going to help him. The kids got ability
Agree with John, [erfect oppotunity to bang some goals in tonight and show maggs what can be done when playing as a no 9 and also hope Jack Shonk gets a full gane as came from Brighton highly rated if injury prone but hasnt had a sniff of the first team yet.
Yeah shonk is a very good player when on song. Pre season played out of position so hasn't stood out but I know there's something about from his Brighton days. I'm going to go down and check it out tonight, anyone else?
I thought number 10 was a strong lad and did try and put himself about but just no creativity no brain, number 7 was the better of the 2 but maybe just hung on to the ball a little to much. Nothing better than what our first team already have in my eyes
