Matt Darby with the goal

Preseason has finished and we got 4 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw so a mixed bag of results really.

Roll on Saturday!

Awful game, players not good enough, waiting for ball, awful 1st touch, it was like watching a pub side, only 2 players with any credit from game were Jordan and Josh.

A bit harsh to criticise being so young, but he appeared not too not being man enough to put himself
Into a 50/50, no where near ready for senior football. ( I am assuming it was him in the 11 shirt) if not same comments apply th 11.

Cheers, assume it would be him in 11 as other strikers were Camara and Crone, think he's 17/18 so assume destined for the U21's this year.

Dunno how he got on last night but think Sam Crutwell has performed decently for us so far even covering at LB especially as he is a 17 year old CM usually. If Edusi's injury that he got a Crowborough keeps him out then he'll be our LB for a while... Hope he can cope!

What happened to Ben Judge yesterday? Twitter feed said he had a back injury?

pelling was good, woodleys passion is something to be admired, shame about judge hope he's ok, cruttwell yes is doing a good job for his age, Shelton is deffo one for the future, too many kicks up the pitch for my liking from the goal surely we have the quality to play from the back on the floor. midfield not giving the right ball to the strikers and BAILO if you read this forum for Christ sake PASS THE BALL, he has obviously qualities but needs to play the team game a bit more imo. crone looking fitter every game so hopefully will be 100% soon and we can see the real him hes making some great runs in great spaces but the final ball to him isn't good enough, the same with maclean great runs but ball not getting there, I think maclean and crone could be a great partnership. anyway as the whole team I think we have the right mix and quality to do well this season just need to gel more and know what to expect from everyone on the pitch. personally it looks like everyone is too concerned in getting there place in the squad than thinking about teamwork which is making it look like 10 outfield individuals and more to the point making themselves look poor that's just my opinion, once everyone knows where they stand in the squad from Saturday im sure we will look more like a team and we can start being positive. ROLL ON CHIPSTEAD

Thought it strange that Sean wasn't there to see the final friendly. Hope he was looking for a striker

This was the only pre season game I saw this season, and from what I saw we was very poor, defensively Sean Kelly was our best player by far. He looked like a real experience to the squad and he gives 100% I think in the middle of the park we wasn't even playing central midfielders? No one wanted as much as every single player in newhaven a team wanted it.crone played fairly well just didn't have much service so poor from the midfielders part again. Maclean in the hole and crone up top could be a great partnership and will bring us goals. I hope I'm not wrong about that. I was expecting to see the starting 11 for Saturday at the newhaven game. But it was far from that!

The squad needs time to gel, remember not a lot of these players have played together before
