Just a question of a foreign supporter from Holland. Can i watch highlights of every game Hastings will play in this coming season ? Thanks for your  reply.

Unfortunately not, was tried this season but we could only get one camera man and unfortunately the present one wasn't able to carry on so it stopped, shame as it looked great!

Surely one of the u21 who get free admission could earn their free ticket by taking a few snaps.

There's a bit more involved than taking a few snaps If we're talking match highlights.

yep if anyone has tried filming and editing and uploading professional film clips They know its expensive and time consuming... We're not talking camera phones here. Chris C had over £1500 worthnof specialist equipment. I have tried both the college and uni by the way but no luck. 

photos not the same IMO but better than nothing, doesn't the paper take them anyway?

whew only get a few press in Dan and not all of them carry cameras so I'm not sure who takes the photos.

David Stevens used to do them for the club, but I think he had a lot of other commitments as well. It may be an idea to ask Sussex Uni or Hastings College. They both have sent teams up to do interviews , photos and videos before.

It's normally sorted by the supporters committee Bert in conjunction with the club.

QUESTION: HUFCTV, what happened? There's someone who would be prepared to pay for that as he is a long distance supporter?

ANSWER FROM KEVIN TOWNER (Supporters Club Chairman) : I loved HUFCTV and would love for Chris to come back. I would want to pursue that.


What does this really mean? Is there a chance of HUFCTV this year ? Would be great.

With Chris running the American conquerors foitball team now I doubt he'd have the time around his family and work, would have to be someone new.

Was great while it lasted so would be great if it could reborn

It wasn 't intended to mean anything particularly. I was merely expressing a personal view that I would be very happy if a format like HUFCTV could be be available to the Club again.

If anybody feels that they would be able to offer that service, then I'd more than happy for them to do so. The idea about pursuing it through the college is interesting and I take it on board.

   Is this this case ?. Is this not a free '' business '' and independent ? Do you really have to get a agreement from the club?

Yeah, always best to clear it with the manager even out of courtesy as potentially ( even if not likely ) other teams cold watch it to gain an advantage as they could research our tactics and players and because no other team does the same ( save for guernsey ) we would be at a disadvantage...

Sean was fine as long as just highlights were shown ( on the other hand we also gave him a copy of the full game on DVD for him to analyse which could be something he new manager would find handy )

UPDATE - 12th June 2014

Pleased to say that after getting the nod from Terry White and Dave Walters i will be filming ( hopefully ) every game i am able to get to this season and will be editing them into ( relatively ) polished highlight videos.

The equipment i have bought is not on the same level as Chris who previously did it but is more than capable to filming the matches in HD quality and edited with titles, scores etc and it will be a nice added extra to what should be a successful season!

Hope to get player, management, board interviews as well as fan pre-match predictions and after game reviews all on film!

Oh alright Lenny, here you go....
Just remember this is a trail run, we are hoping to do it again sometime in July when Simon has
worked his magic again, there have been some minor hiccups on some computers, so dont worry.
about the clarity, it will be perfect when done again.
