Hope Jack has a successful time at Lewes. A mention on their forum that Matt is now attending their training sessions. None of which is good news for Hastings.

Dont think Jack is huge loss. he had some good games but cant remember many goals or matches he changed. probably one of his best games was harrogate replay but disappointed after that.. lots of running and industry but little end product. think vickers is bigger loss especially if he can stay calm and not get booked/sent off. as to keeper if i had to choose between Peling and Armstrong Ford Id go for Peling

I agree with Peter on this. Never saw what Jack actually did, although Lewes seem to rate him, so maybe I missed something. Thought Matt had a good season, shame he has left. Vickers I never really saw all the fuss about either, can't remember one good game he had, only remember him for rivalling Duncan Mcarthur in the red card stakes. Out of all of last seasons squad there really was only a handful that I am sorry to see leave. Cox, best right back in the league, Crellin, the lad always tried, good player, and loved the club, Attwood, some may not see my view on this but I rated him despite not being prolific. Obviously Bradley was never coming back, and JJ and Whitehead went ages ago, all good players. As for the rest, well they've put us where we are now, obviously they all think there better then they are. Good luck to them. Personally, I am glad to have Maclean and Pogue back.
