No, he hasn't. I stand at the Pilot Field week-in-week-out and I have seen my fair share of managers through the years and I rate Sean highly. He knows the players in and out & on and off the pitch. I and the players respect Sean highly and I will back him until the very final hurdle. The FA Cup run wasn't done by luck, it was through good managerial tactics and belief. If the doubting people about Sean actually gave him and the player a chance with some belief in them, I'm sure that good things would happen. Our football club should be bringing us all together and not creating divides in all of us, so at Lewes on Saturday and at home on Monday, let's all believe and get behind the players.

At the Blackfield and Langley, Bishops Stortford, Harrogate (home) and Middlesbrough, the Hastings fans were so fantastic, and it shows that the 12th man get give the players a lift. If any of those 'loyal' supporters came to every game and sung their hearts out, cheering support, there is a chance that we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now.

Football is a team game, and the game is not everything. The team is everything, the first team, the reserves team and most importantly the fans. We all have to be a team for the lift that we need to get what we need.

Don't think you can blame the lack of support. I've been trying to drag people to the games for years. People just arent interested in non league football at this level. The majority of the big crowd were there for the cameras and to celebrate what the team had done. But that's all long forgotten. The team haven't done enough to win those people over and its already a distant memory just 3 months later.

We can't attack those that came to the cup games and haven't returned since. It's too expensive and the football on show is rather poor right now.

As for divides amongst the fans I think you'll always have those who are saying everything will be ok, and those who think the end is nigh. It's just the way people deal with bad times.

I agree with you to a certain extent. However, it only seems a distant memory because our league form hasn't been up to scratch. I always try to encourage my friends and family to attend the games and with my journalism with writing my match reports, when there is praise to be given, I give it and when there is encouragement to be given, I will give it.

I agree with the dividing in the fans, yes, there will always be those whom state that it'll be okay and those who disbelieve. The past few seasons have seen United drop in the table, but I remember the promotion into this league and then missing out on the play-off places by goal difference five or so years back. But if all the fans stuck together and thought the best for the team, I'm pretty sure this would give them a lift.
